In ‘Sifting through Memory’, a melody changes shape and colour slightly each time, just as our memories change

This video was made as part of the “Songbook of Future Memories” project; made possible by an investment fund of Buma/Stemra. Members of Asko|Schönberg coöperated with students of the Ensemble Academy of the Royal Conservatoire The Hague. Six composers of Deuss Music were commissioned to write a work for this combined ensemble. Each piece was performed and recorded in June 2021 at Studio GRASpunt, Amsterdam.
