Spiri is a series of orchestra works consisting of three installments - lasting approx. 70 minutes. Spiri I: Stained Ritual (Ca. 10') is the first installment of the trilogy.

The principle chaconne that evolved from a shared harmonic anchor in all three works ties the trilogy closely while each work autonomously functions as a stand-alone piece.

As the opening, Spiri I: Stained Ritual foreshadows Spiri II: Sheltered Ritual and Spiri III: Sacred Ritual, and focuses on the abstraction of chaconne in fragmentation, incompletion, and digression from the primary form.

Spiri I: Stained Ritual is to be premiered in fall 2024.
